Saw this going around. And... yeah.
1. Being Gay Is Not Natural
And real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning, tattoos, piercings and silicon breasts...
2. Gay Marriage Will Encourage People To Be Gay
In the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.
3. Legalizing Gay Marriage Will Open The Door To All Kinds Of Crazy Behavior
People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract. Lamps are next.
4. Straight Marriage Has Been Around A Long Time And Hasn't Changed At All
Hence why women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.
5. Straight Marriage Will Be Less Meaningful If Gay Marriage Were Allowed
And we can't let the sanctity of Britney Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage be destroyed.
6. Straight Marriages Are Valid Because They Produce Children
So therefore, gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our population isn't out of control, our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.
7. Obviously Gay Parents Will Raise Gay Children
Since, of course, straight parents only raise straight children.
8. Gay Marriage Is Not Supported By Religion
In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.
9. Children Can Never Succeed Without A Male And A Female Role Model
Which is exactly why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.
10. Gay Marriage Will Change The Foundation Of Society; We Could Never Adapt To New Social Norms
Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans.

Title: Falling Awake

Pairing: Jennifer Jareau/Spencer Reid
Spoilers/Timeline: I was inspired after season 3’s Birthright – anything before and including this episode is fair game.
Summary: He felt like a voyeur, watching these private moments of her pain, uninvited, unsuspected. Nevertheless he found himself drawn to her; he always had. JJ/Reid.
Author’s Note: Here is chapter two. This has been a chapter literally a month in the making (with many fights with my muse and my sanity), and I put a lot into it. Any feedback would be seriously appreciated, as I’m unsure if I should continue or leave it finished here. If I did continue with a final chapter, it would potentially change in rating to a mild M… so any thoughts on that would be heartily welcomed. Also, I have to especially thank those that reviewed this story. It means so much to me… thank you.

Author’s Note: This is my first foray into the Criminal Minds fanfiction world. I’ve found these two characters to be incredibly intriguing… so here you have it. This first chapter serves as an introduction of sorts. It’ll probably end up being three parts; part two is nearly finished, and will be much longer. Please enjoy and let me know what you think. Also, the title of the story (and the few lyrics within) is taken from Gary Jules’ song Falling Awake.

So I know this is my graphics journal, but what the hell, it's mine, so I'm posting my new Lost fanfiction. I've started like 10 of them in the past month and this one I finish in a day. I also have Farscape and Alias fic, plus one other Lost, plus CSI and Bones fic that I've started and never finished... so if you're interested... yeah. And I promise, icons SOON! I'm trying to make enough so that it's a really nice-sized post. Real life just hates me. Seriously.

So... its only been... 3 months? Shut up, I've been busy. Lounging around watching Day of our Live and Passions all day is hard work, my friends. Hard work.
But because I am a major ass, and you all are not, I am going to give you a preview of what's on its way. So far my muse has chanted BONES BONES BONES, so it will be many Bones icons coming your way, plus more with all of the upcoming premieres. Oh, and they are all from the most recent episode of Bones, The Boy In The Shroud, so if you haven't seen that, you might be hardly mildly spoiled, but not really. Just by the hotness of one Jack Hodgins. Yum. Anyway, on with the show.
